BACK TO THE BEGINNING

TOPIC:        BACK TO THE BEGINNING
THE KEY:    RESTORE FRIENDSHIP

🌲Matthew 5:24 (NLT)📖 "So if you are standing before the altar in the Temple, offering a sacrifice to God, and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there before the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God."

🍓When Jesus was teaching His sermon on the mountain, He advice us to drop our gift or sacrifice on the altar and settle any dispute or offenses we have against anyone. After which, we can come and offer our gift or sacrifice to God.
🌻This is because, our gift or sacrifice  cannot be accepted with grudges and bitterness in our heart.

🍏STORY ILLUSTRATIONS
Belinda wadded up her home work in tears. She couldn't solve her mathematics alone. She often solve it with her best friend Elena. They had a little quarrel of which made them stay their separate ways. While sobbing, her dad rose up from the cushion and walked towards her on the dining. He asked Belinda why she was crying, and Belinda replied her dad that she wasn't getting the answers of her mathematics correctly and that on a normal day, she solves her mathematics  with her best friend Elena, but that they are no long together since they had a  little argument which later lead to misunderstanding.
🍎Her dad glanced through her work and told Belinda to go BACK TO THE BEGINNING of the calculation. She carefully did and later found out that she actually double a figure while adding. She was excited with the result she got. After she was done with her home work, her dad called her attention and told her that she need to go back to Elena and be reconciled to her so that the both of them can be as friends as usual.
With the excitement, she happily accepted   to go BACK TO THE BEGINNING by apologizing to Elena. Elena forgave her and they later became friends again.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
Is there someone with whom you've had a disagreement? Are you sure it was that persons fault? Ask God to show you what you might have done wrong. Confess your sins to God; then go to the other person and apologize. A restored friendship will make you both happy. Don't carry old grudges into your heart.

TO MEMORIZE:
2 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV) So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.

Feel free to share with friends.
